Music has been with us since the start of our civilization. After all, it is also a type of art and no one can question the importance of art. It is everywhere, from the paintings of a museum to the big screens in cinemas. And music, like art, makes us think and rethink about our lives. These thoughts are what define us as humans, which creates a strong relationship between people and music.

Our brains also like to find patterns on things we see, hear, touch or interact with. And the rhythm of a song is a pleasure to someone’s ears. Different ears like different melodies, something that leads to the creations of types of music. Each one with their unique feeling. This variety of “musical patterns” has the power to change the way we feel. This strengthens the relation between music and emotions.

In a nutshell, music, like any type of art, has its origins in our human nature and has the power to change the way we feel and think.
