The Earth’plea: Only actions can change the world and turn it into a better place.

Dear Humans,

For those wondering how true happiness feels like, I’m sorry, but I can’t help you. It’s hard to feel one of the purest things in the Universe when you’re full of uncertainties about the past, the present, and mainly the future. I don’t think I can stand this for much too long.

I share my trees with you, and you cut them off for your own benefit, forgetting that you are not alone and taking away thousands of animal homes. I share my coal and petrol with you, and you turn them into plastic, transports and factories, focusing on a few benefits and ignoring the risks. And when I think you can stop, that you can show some mercy, I share wonderful animals with you, and you hunt them or bring them into zoos. But when I try to warn you about the bad things you’re doing, you always complain about my floods and droughts!...

But the worst part, the one that takes my heart away, is that, despite knowing what you should and must do, you prefer doing nothing except thinking about you. But when I think it can’t get worse, then it comes to my mind that most of you don’t care about not listening to the birds singing, about not seeing the beautiful landscapes I offer you, about not feeling the snowflakes touching your warm faces during winter... Yet, for those people who want a better home, here’s some advice: you must stop thinking and start acting; because only actions can save me, only actions can protect those who have lost their hope on humanity. Only actions can change the world and turn it into a better place. If you act together, no one and nothing can stop you. So, please, if you don’t do it for you, do it for others, for me.
